We talk about firsts, but I will tell you it's not about the chronological order or sequence; it is always about the memories and the quality of time that they are attached to that provide value.

Though my first home was special in a lot of ways, it wasn't until I came to the new second home in Reliance Greens that I learned the true essence of life. The years over here saw me become an adult and leave the teenage rebel years behind.

My high school days were spent here. I started working on my blog, my life as a social media creator—discovered this world of immense opportunities, ventured into different areas of life like spirituality (tarot cards), acting (I went for a diploma in acting at Anupam Kher's actor prepares in Mumbai), graduated from college with an honors degree in commerce, did a food blogging experiment, got into IIM Udaipur and earned my MBA degree, corporate jobs, and so much more.

I cannot sum up 15+ years here in one blog post, but I can talk about a few precious memories that are worth sharing.

  • I entered Twitter contests and won my first iPhone, sponsored all-expenses-paid trips to Dubai and Malaysia, numerous flights, hotel stays, and more.

One fine day after my 12th-grade board exams were over and I was awaiting college decisions, I sat in front of my desktop computer screen (I didn't have a laptop back then and mobile internet wasn't even worth loading due to its slow speed) and saw a news headline about cricketers 'tweeting' behind the scenes from their lives and beyond cricket.

Now if you read my previous post, you know how much of a cricket lover I am, and the opportunity to stay one 'tweet' away from a cricketer I adored was a chance too good to let pass by.

So I created that Twitter account, and honestly, the UI was extremely confusing for a 16-year-old to fathom.

What is a retweet?

What is a 'hashtag'? What happens when you use that symbol?

What is happening here?

How do I talk to Dhoni?

They say where there is a will, there is a way. Slowly but steadily, I figured it all out, and in the process of finding a way to talk to Dhoni, I stumbled upon the world of contests and the grand prizes they offered.

Now I wasn't any novice to spams and scams and was super anxious in the beginning while playing them contests.

Then the first gift prize arrived at home, and it was truly the products I won—some L'Oreal lipsticks and a nail art hamper. This made me ecstatic and instilled in me the belief that I can win almost anything I want to if I play the contest right.
